busy weekend

Worked friday, saturday, sunday this weekend.
Didn't have time for much art stuff but I did manage to go on a picture taking outing sunday afternoon.
I think some good pictures came out of it. (:

Fourth quarter!

Hello there! So I'm a fourth quarter senior and i've decided to turn over a new leaf. So here I am on this blog of mine, blogging and not being a slacker. Finished (?) a concentration piece over the weekend, I'll probably put a picture up soon. I still have a lot to do, but I'm inspired today so hopefully it will turn into something good. (:

So the story is that my internet got shut off, and it doesn't seem like i'm going to be getting it back anytime soon. So yeah, this is late, but this was the first chance I had to get to the library. Mmmmk, so I did two paintings this weekend. And I'm not sure what I think about them. Actually, I know that I don't like the cat one. It's super rushed and icky. Okay, here they are.

I'm a bad girl for not posting these until now. But anyways. These aren't my concentration pieces. I'm dumb and left art i wanted to take pictures of in my cubby. ;D

So, hopefully I set this up right...
Ms. McBride wanted me to do an little entry telling everyone about myself because I'm going to be in AP art next semester, so here it goes!
I'm Lenae, and if you don't know me by name, you probably know me as the girl with dreadlocks. I like to paint, play and listen to music, and go thrift store shopping, among many other things. This is my first year at Lakeridge and I'm really enjoying my time here. Everyone is so welcoming, and even though I don't know many people very well, I feel like I'm really a part of things, which is something I never experienced at LO. Anyways, I'm really excited to be in class with all of you guys! I don't really know what else to talk about so byeee!
